Getting tempo sync working on Djay Pro (iphone)

I can’t figure out how the tempo sync works on the Djay Pro for iphone.

Normally in other DJ software, I cue a track, press “sync” and then when I play that track, it’s perfectly in sync.

In Djay Pro, when I press sync, the track starts playing. Is there anyway to stop that and do it the way I’ve suggested?

It’s really annoying the way it is.

I literally can’t find any documentation on this feature.

Hi there, this definitely isn’t working for me

I put on two tracks (both electronic with regular timing)

Play one
Press sync on the other - the tempo matches
Press sync to play the second track
The tempo is the same but the tunes are not in sync

This is with every single track I’ve tried

Is there some kind of setting somewhere I’ve missed or am I doing this wrong?

Hi Louis Bean,

the Sync is a Play Sync which is also starting the track after hitting the Sync.
The two tracks are playing in sync afterwards.

Which exact tracks are not behaving that way?

yes after hiting the sync again they are playing in same tempo and beatmatched.

Additionally, I just realised even if I do press sync and the song starts playing, it’s not in sync.

I think I just have no idea how this is supposed to work, but I can’t find any documentation on it. Am I being really stupid here?

When you say playing in sync, do you mean that

a) they are at the same tempo
b) they are at the same tempo and beatmatched?

I’m getting a) - if I press the sync button they’re not beatmatched.
