Has anybody used a cheaper alternative to the iMic? How does it work? Something like this:
This exact piece works perfectly! I lost my iMic, this works great. Only issue is it’s wide and blocks the USB port next to it, so I plug it into a simple USB extension cable. The only drawback is a constantly flashing small green LED inside, but I just put a piece of black electrical tape on it, problem solved.
This is a lot cheaper but the input is MONO, not Stereo. I need a stereo input. Thanks for the link, though
