GRV6 STEMS FX paddle position not checked when loading another track

  • Hardware/controllers used: AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 (firmware v1.02)

Summary of the issue:

The STEMS FX lock button state position is not being honoured / checked when changing tracks.

How to reproduce the issue:

  1. Load any track with vocals
  2. Click the Vocal button on the STEMS FX panel so it lights up
  3. Move the FX lever/switch to the LOCK position
  4. Adjust the Level / Depth dial
    – All works as expected
  5. Load a new track
  6. Adjust the Level / Depth dial
    – What should happen:
    — The vocals level change :raising_hands:
    – What does happen:
    — Nothing :cry: :pensive_face:

You need to move the the FX lever/switch away from the LOCK position, then move it back to the LOCK position again for the Level / Depth dial to work with the newly loaded track.

This bug aside, massive shout out to the Algoriddim team on the GRV6 support and integration, it’s absolutely fantastic out of the box :person_bowing:

Also, can you please share a screenshot of your djay Settings>General>SONG LOADING>Reset Neural Mix Controls settings? If this is On, please try switching it Off and retesting. Thanks!

Just to confirm, the Reset Neural Mix Controls setting is off. I tried it with it both on and off, no difference either way.

Here’s a second video showing the bug with the Reset Neural Mix Controls setting off.
