Has anyone tried to use cdj-850 as controller for ipad pro usb-c?

Hi all! I’m using djay pro on iPad pro 11 M1
for dvs on vinyl I have traktor audio 6.
Has anyone tried it with cdj-850 as a controller on ios?
There is no cdj’s in hardware section for iOS but for mac it should work.

Hi, unfortunately CDJs cannot be supported on iOS because of their requirement for drivers and using HID (which is not available on iOS).

However all CDJs (including older ones like CDJ-350) are supported with djay on Mac.

Hello, I am attempting to use a CDJ-850 in HID mode with the latest version of djay pro (5.2.5). The CDJ is not being recognized in djay pro. It works with Serato. Is there a manual or video on how to set it up? I am not getting a pop up message like you see when you connect a CDJ-3000 or similar to djay. Is the CDJ-850 no longer supported, or am I missing something? Thank you

Turns out I just needed to do a firmware update on the CDJ. It’s working now. I’m leaving this here in case someone in the future has this problem. Cheers!

great news. I would also like to know if the display shows information about tracks? and if it is possible to select music directly from the CDJs?
