Thanks for the info @zebooman. The buzzing during charging sounds like a hardware issue to me. I recommend that you contact Reloop Support for this. Thanks!
Is there a shortcut for disable the crossfader?
They are advertise with the new Crossfader Neural Mix options, but still can not use the pre cueing for the other Track! ![]()
When do they fix This Problem?? ![]()
Still an issue right? I am getting that on my mac.
Hi @Markus_F and @T_Tour, as noted above this is a complex issue to resolve. The engineering team is still working on this one. Iâll report back here when we have more news. Thanks!
yes really very sad problem
Pretty interesting. Although I hadnât noticed it (I havenât touched a crossfader since Iâve stopped scratching somewhere in the 90s) I did test the CFX in DJAY a couple of weeks ago and I decided I really like the concept. I didnât use cueing while playing with it though.
The stems FX and BPM adjustment are the only reason for me to use a crossfader at all as in general I prefer the more precise adjustment I have when using the normal faders.
As a developer I feel this doesnât actually seem to be a bug. It can be of course, but it looks like a design issue (known in advance) to be honest. I can think of some workarounds, but without knowing the internal routing and bussing in DJAY itâs hard to say whatâs going on.
Since theyâre obviously a smart bunch I trust Algo to come up with a solution. But I can imagine it needs some deeper audio engine changes.
Any chance that could be solved soon? It prevents me from using the crossfader fx, which I would rather like to use. But not without being able to cue the tracks in headphone before.
Yep I noticed the same thing last night. Only in this latest update I believe.
It is with iOS as well.
Hi @Speterson28906, this is nothing new to 5.2.6. This has been a technical limitation since the introduction of CFX.
@Criwo, as explained above, this is a complex technical problem to solve. We will share any developments here as they evolve.
Thanks!
Well, then letâs hope it can be solved, as it is blocking users from taking advantage of a nice tool.
Hi Slak_Jaw, any news regarding this issue?
Hi @FedeBunge, thanks for checking. I donât have any news to share at the moment.
I was preparing to write about the same issue, but that I find out that lots of people are facing the same problem! There is no other way than waiting for the Algoriddim engineering team the solve this bug! We trust you guys, since the crossfader fx is wonderful when it is used with neural mix modes, but itâs impractical when you donât hear what plays in the inactive deck!
I was also about to write about this issue. Hope it getâs patched up soonâŚ
Hello, I guess nothing new is emerging in this matter, do we still have to wait? Update 5.2.8 for Android did not bring anything in the matter of listening to the prepared deck.
When using the Crossfader FX, I cannot hear the incoming song. This is likely because the effect is a filter. Is there a toggle somewhere to hear whatâs in cue pre-FX so DJs know that the tempo blend is at the proper start point? (ex bad grid/cue point)

Hi @djsupe,
Thanks for the question!
To confirm, are you experiencing this behavior in the latest version of djay, v5.2?
Additionally, what CFX are you experincieing this with? Fade, Filter, Echo, etc.
Thanks!
Hey @djsupe,
Is that happening with all the CFX? Iâm assuming you were on the âVocal Isolationâ. This happens because in the fader closed position the CFX makes it so the incoming track (one youâre cueing) is turned down, filtered out, automated out, whatever.
Itâs annoying but it makes sense logically. As you move the fader in youâll hear it more and more. So I just turn up my headphone volume and bring the fader in slightly. As long as there is a beat at the intro youâll hear it enough to match it up and as you bring it in more and more youâll hear more of it until you hit the middle point where the other song will now just be stemmed out to sound like an accapella. I hope that helps and is whatâs happening. Otherwise sorry homie. Didnât mean to make things more confusing. ![]()
