Thanks for the pictures @Aleksandros_Panayoti. I recommend that you also keep the FLX4 connected to a separate 9V 3A power supply when DJing and not rely entirely on USB bus power.
Also, are you using this audio interface in conjunction with the FLX4 or not?
As I said earlier, I also supplied my djay controller with a power source - thinking that the problem may occur because of the lack of power - but again nothing has changed.

I send another picture showing everything and that are; the power supply, the audio interface connection and the controller connection. You can also see on the screen, the audio devlces menu, with master output the ssl 2 audio interface and the ddj-flx4 for pre-cuing…
I copied and pasted what you wrote in Terminal app and then I pressed enter.
Then I launched djayPro. Everything looks fine, but to check if the issue is resolved I have to djay for a long time and that is tomorrow night and later on on I will let you know the result.
Is there anything else that I have to do?

EDIT: one other thing to consider is your USB-C cables. Please make sure you are using high quality, properly shielded cables from reputable manufacturers.
EDIT 2: If the issue occurs again, can you please capture a Sample Process using Activity Monitor on your Mac while the issue is happening?
- In the Activity Monitor app on your Mac, click the System diagnostics options pop-up menu, then choose Sample Process to create a report on a selected process over a period of 3 seconds.
- Then upload the report to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the file here.

EDIT: In order to connect both my DJ Controller and my Audio Interface with my Mac, I use the original cables that came out of the boxes of each hardware. For my Mac I use also its own Mac charger. To provide power supply for my DJ Controller I use an Anker 67W Iq3 charger with a usb-c to usb-c cable of the brand Baseon Glimmer Series 100W model… I think each one of these connections are ok but it is good that you asked.
EDIT 2: I will do the activity manager sample process if the problem occurs again and I will share the report with you. In any case I will let you know the result.

Hello again… Unfortunately the problem occured again and after 1.5 hours the headphone voice deteriorated.
I did another test at home today, with baseus connection cables, but it occured again and as you suggested I used Activity Monitor and I took a system diagnostic report:
I didn’t stop the session and after taking the report I realized that the headphone sound was fine again without restarting djay or changing the pre-cue source.
I don’t know if it will happen again or not but since you asked I share the log report with you at the google drive link to the file above…

Previously today I played for 2 hours with main output my Bose speakers (via Bluetooth) and FLX4 as the Pre-Cue ing… There was no problem at all. After I changed the main output to SSL 2 and transmitted the sound to Bose speakers via an aux cable. The pre-Cue was the same in FLX4… After 1 hout the particular problem occured…
Do you think that it has to do with the main output or with SSL2 when it’s used as the main output? The problem is actually in pre-cuing so it does not sound logical to me but you are the experts it is better that you tell me!
One other important note is that, approximately for three months I used my windows based DELL computer with the same setup (flx4 and ssl2) and there was no such a problem! The problem started since I use my Mac!

Please note that splitting the audio signal for main audio and for pre-cueing between different devices will create an “aggregate audio device” on macOS, which can cause issues in some cases. The team is looking into this further, but in the meantime, I recommend that you use the same device for Main Ouput and Pre-Cueing.
Because I play in clubs where I need a powerful sound I preferred to buy a good audio interface (SSL 2) rather than using the main output of FLX4 which I do not find it very powerful… Another option would be to use SSL 2 both for main output and for pre-cueing (since there 's a headphone plug in SSL 2) but when I use SSL2 as my main output, I don’t see it in the pre-cue ing scroll down menu of djay PRO software! In other words I can use SSL2 either for main output or for pre-cuing, but unfortunately not for both at the same time!

This is the link of another sample process report session in which again approximately 1.5hrs later the headphone sound problem occurred again:
In terms of using two different sources for main output and for pre-cuing, I used to do this in my old MaC (2010) until one year ago. I was using Traktor A6 audio interface as the main output and FLX4 for pre-cuing but never experienced such a problem.
For the current situation it’s really interesting that after the problem occurs if I change the pre- cue source to something different (macbook speaker for example) and switch it back immediately to FLX4 again, the problem is fixed. The problem with that solution is that when you do it, a one second cut occurs in the main output sound i, every time I change the source of pre-cue ing.
I wanted to share this info with you, so that it might help!

Hi @Aleksandros_Panayoti, while aggregating audio devices usually works fine, some combinations of audio devices can be unreliable e.g. if they don’t support the same sample rates or if their clocks can not be brought in sync. That being said you can try adjusting the settings in the “Audio MIDI Setup” system app to see if that helps:
- While djay is running and configured with an aggregate device, select the “Aggregate-Audio-Device” device in the “Audio Devices” window of Audio MIDI Setup.
- Try disabling “Drift Correction” for one or both devices that are being aggregated.
- Try adjusting the sample rate of the aggregate device.
- Try changing the “clock source” of the aggregate device.
