Hercules 200 iOS FX buttons with no function

Hi there,

I use the Hercules inpulse 200 with the iOS app and most things work pretty great. Nonetheless I do not get the FX buttons on the controller to work. When I press nothing happens. Any idea how to fix that? It would be great if I could just start and stop FX with those buttons.

What button are you referring to? The 4 pads below the HOT CUE and ROLL button?

• You can get to the FX by pressing SHIFT and HOT CUE. These are the instant FX of djay.
• You can get to the SAMPLER by pressing SHIFT and ROLL.

Hi Guillermo,

thanks for the info. Those are the buttons I am refering to and I already tried it with shift and hot cue (hot cue button flashing then). Nothing happend.

I will give it another try and post my results here.

Hi Guillermo,

I checked the Learn MIDI feature and found out that the FX buttons are not mapped by the default profile (see screenshot). Is it possible to update the standard profile as I am not able to change the MIDI config because I am testing the App in free mode?

Hi Basti,

Thanks for pointing this out. I’ve reported the missing instant FX in the mapping to our developers and they’ll look into solving this as soon as possible. I’ll keep you posted with any updates about this.

We wanted to share with you that this issue has been fixed with the latest update to djay Pro AI for iOS (version 4.0). Please update your app when you get a chance on the App Store, and the FX should work as expected now.
