I’m asked to recommend a controller and am wondering if the Impulse 500 is a good choice. The fact that it has AUX so that a Bluetooth can be plugged in. It also has a Mic in, which is also welcome for the specific use case.
The built-in audio interface in Reloop Ready & Buddy does not sound great, so I would avoid. The Impulse 500 is in the same price range, but am wondering if it sound good?
I have had the Inpulse 500 since 2022 and still consider the controller to be a good choice, especially in comparison with the devices that are otherwise recommended in this price range, e.g. the Flx4. I’m not happy with the standard mapping and have customized it extensively, but of course that’s something everyone has to decide for themselves.
I can’t complain about the sound, but I also use an external mixer independently of the controller, so I don’t go directly to the PA with the controller.

Good morning I am trying to connect my Hercules impulse 500 to my djay app and I am in need of help I see where it says for Bluetooth controller but mine is plugged in and the mapping I see you have that figured out too please send me any information you can i would be greatful have a blessed day

Hercules 500 is plug-N-play in all platforms except Android. No mapping required, whatsoever.
If you have android, don’t waste your time
