Do you mean to the latest version of djay 1 or djay 2?

You can get the latest version of djay 1 (1.6.6) for free. Since the app is no longer available for sale, though, you need to delete your current djay app first. Please try the following:

  1. Open the App Store app on your iPad and go to “Purchases”
  2. Verify that you can find djay 1 there
  3. Then delete your current djay app
  4. Go back to App Store > Purchases and download djay again

The upgrade to djay 2 is not for free though. You can buy djay 2 in the App Store. Please note that djay 2 requires iOS 7.
