Heyyy ihm new here and experiencing an issue with my Pioneer DDJ-400 when using it with the djay app on my iPad. I can’t activate the Pad FX mode. When ai use shift and press beat loop it doesn’t switch to pad fx. Can anyone provide guidance on how to properly enable and switch between different pad functions on the DDJ-400 with the djay app? Is there a specific setting or step I might be missing?
Thanks in advance!

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3): Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version:
- Have you downloaded and installed the latest DDJ-400 firmware from the Pioneer DJ site?
- Are you using the (built-in) MIDI Mapping for the DDJ-400 or a custom edit?
- I don’t have access to this hardware, but if memory serves me correct, I don’t think all of the secondary DDJ-400 Pad Modes are supported in djay.
- However, you could remap one of the main Pad Modes to Pad FX if you want to.
