How do I change my username on here?

I need help changing my username. Do I need to email support?

Hi @Jamescrush,

1. Simply click on your username within any existing topic
   
   
2. Then click on it again at the top the pop-up screen.
   
   
3. Then select the Settings cog at the far right and you can edit your username

@Slak_Jaw looks like it’s an admin-only option.

If regular users go to https://community.algoriddim.com/my/preferences/account there is no edit option:

You might need to change the Discourse username_change_period setting to a value other than 0
