how do you choose what your performance pads do, like how do you select between hot cue, samples , or loops modes for the pads.

Hi @charan_palanki, welcome to the community.

  1. The Pioneer DDJ-200 does not have different Performance Pad Mode buttons like most other DJ controllers, so you cannot change modes between Hot Cue, Samples, Loops, etc… You only have 8 Performance Pads per deck.
  2. However, it is possible to modify the default MIDI Mapping for the 8 Performance Pads to whatever you like within djay’s MIDI Learn Tool.
