I want to know how I can add my own audio files that I have on iTunes as samples to djay pro?
Super! Thanks for this info!
You can simply copy the files to:
Thank you very much for contacting us.
For djay Pro for Mac please see:
For djay 2/Pro for the iPad:
To add samples, follow these steps:
- connect the device to your Mac
- open the Apps overview of your iPad in iTunes
- scroll down to “File Sharing”
- click on djay 2/Pro
- drag and drop a audio sample into the “djay Pro/2 Documents” list
Now the audio sample is stored under Sampler -> Edit Samples -> Click on the Sample Pad which you want to edit -> My Samples
Hope this is helping.
Hi rolando carpio,
we are working on a in detail manual. In the meantime can you tell me what is happening or at which step you need help?
Same applies to Scott Dulin, which step is causing problems.
thank you for the feedback, the instruction were related to the djay Pro for Mac app, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I am glad that you figured it out.
If you have any questions or suggestions, or if you would like further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
SIMPLY?? Simply would be a button in the GUI! Djay Pro is fantastic, the sampler seems like an afterthought.
Any idea how this can be done on an Ipad as there is no access to directory structure?
can i have a video tutorial 4 this so i can easy do.TNX
I did all of this but I still don’t see how to actually change the samples directly on the iPad. Does this require djay pro for mac as well?
I’m trying to change the sample on the iPad app. After saving the samples to the file directory in the app on my laptop, there’s no visible function on the iPad itself to actually change the samples.
There is no “edit samples” function on the iPad app.
Never mind…I figured it out. You should really try to provide clearer instructions because the ones posted above are incredibly unclear and “Now the audio sample is stored under Sampler → Edit Samples → Click on the Sample Pad which you want to edit → My Samples” is completely irrelevant on the iPad app.
For Djay2/Pro for iPad, I’ve added some instructions here.
