I love using my iPad with DJAY.
I play a great set
I create a playlist from my session history
I want to create and export a playlist for future use to apple Music or desktop DJAY because that is where all my music is organised because you can’t organise and tag music on your iPad/Phone
Hi @rishi, if your playlists are created in My Collection, the process to manually copy them from iOS to macOS is quite easy. You simply need to copy the djay Media Library database file from one device to the other. First I recommend that you backup these databases to iCloud or an external drive.
On iOS you can find the djay Media Library using the Files App in On My iPad>djay>User Data.
Thanks @Slak_Jaw your help is always appreciated. Thankyou!
I know the whole syncing between devices has been raised a million times but let’s be clear this is a helpful but hacky workaround. It’s not a solution.

IMO…
DJAY is the clear king on iOS/mobile not on desktop.
BUT…
Music management is the missing link to using DJAY on iOS properly
Tagging tracks, setting genres, tags, syncing cues, playlists, analysis between devices is all very weak.
For anyone coming from another platform Pioneer USB’s, Serato etc wanting to use a phone/iPad to DJ gets stuck at the beginning with the basic stuff.
I have to use Rekordbox and DJCU because DJAY has nothing to offer.
