(version 5.3)
When I export a playlist as a CSV, it generates a spreadsheet containing the following columns: Title, Artist, Album, Time, BPM, Key, and URL. Is there any way to include other data, like play count and year?
I’ve also tried selecting the entire playlist and copying it, then pasting it into a spreadsheet. It creates a single column with the title and artist of each song, in quotation marks and separated by commas, which has even less information and also isn’t in a useful format. I would still consider using this method, though, if there’s a way to get it to include all the information that’s visible on the playlist view.
It’s usually more effective to import the CSV vs. copy/paste. On import, spreadsheet apps usually ask questions about the CSV file so the data can be properly formatted.

Yes, importing is definitely better. The formatting is working perfectly; my question is about which information gets exported. It seems that when DJ Pro AI exports to a CSV file, by default it includes some metadata about each track and excludes other metadata. Is there any way to choose which metadata is included in the CSV it generates upon export?
The CSV file seems to be hard coded, but there is a workaround in Apple Music that provides more information.
- Copy & Paste to an Apple Music playlist.
- Export playlist as Plain Text file.
- Import text file to spreadsheet
Notes:
- For playlists in DJ Set history, there is a command to export directly to Apple Music.

That’s a good tip! Unfortunately, it replaces the play count from djay Pro AI with the play count from Apple Music, so it still doesn’t serve this particular purpose. But I can see there being some good use cases for this workaround. Thank you!
