How to keep paused indefinitely? Play resumes automatically around 1'45".

On the iPhone, pressing the green play button stops the playing track for about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Playback then resumes automatically. How to indefinitely pause playback?

Turns out you’re right, but…
I’m using a dock and when I pause djay2, the dock eventually goes to sleep and apparently sends a message to the iPhone to sleep. The iPhone screen locks and the music un-pauses! This is not the behavior when I play using Spotify or the Apple music app. The dock and phone go to sleep and the music stays paused.

Hi. My dock is a Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2. It’s an older dock and will probably be replaced so I’m not super concerned about it, although the problem may affect your other users with other docks too.

Pressing pause should always be indefinite. Are you using any external devices with djay that may trigger a “play”?
