having to Update the beatpad 2, I want to know how you put the firmware. I think you have to put in mode 'update.come do?

please stick to the readme file by Reloop . The button is relating to the library button, the one with the music note on it.

If you go to the reloop website http://www.reloop.com/reloop-beatpad-…
download the file and using USB cable link to beatpad 2 and follow “read me” instructions
