How to save streaming music in case of WiFi?

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1):
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2):
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro):

Your question: is there a way to get the downloaded songs or your playlist on DJ pro to save fully? I think we all remember last year when we were without streaming abilities for three months. That was a nightmare I never wanna go back to that time. If something like that to happen again is there a way to make sure our songs on there are saved where we can always play them?

Yes - purchase your own music

Your main options are download pools, or a streaming service that alows downloads. On djay pro the current ones are soundcloud, beatport and beatsource I think.
Problem is these options don’t have the vast libraries such as apple or tidal so they can be quite restrictive.
Streaming services are ok but it is wise to also build your own collection as you go in case of events you have mentioned.
I use Tidal all the time but I also set a budget each month to purchase music and still have a good selection to work with should problems occur.
