how to use an external microphone and headphones

Can anyone please explain hoe to get the external headphones and microphone to work and can i use a combi microphone and headphones?

Hi,

Please open djay’s Devices setup ( djay -> Preferences ) to select your device for output/mic.

What exactly happens after you select the mic in the Devices setup? Please tap the mic symbol in the bottom right corner of the djay window. What happens if you turn the mic on there?
