Are there any videos on YouTube anywhere that explain editing beat grids? For example, if I drop an anchor to set a mix-out point but the BPM has changed, can I drop the anchor AND change the BPM at the same time?
The dynamic grids are great but they don’t get it perfect everytime…
For example, House of Pain’s Jump Around is about 107bpm, I have a DJ edit version so it’s been extended a little by adding a 2 bar intro and outro, but when I set the correct mix point on the outro and drop an anchor, for some reason it changes the BPM to 120bpm…and the grid is not aligned anymore, I need to set it back to 107…and then a grid is still not aligned.
In rekordbox I would drop the anchor the BPM would not change, but if it needed to from that point forwards then I could set a new value.
