idJ Pro and IPad3 - the cue on the inactive deck is affecting output volume on active deck

I have an iPad3 and Numark iDJ Pro controller using dJay2. When I have a tune playing on the inactive deck, if I cue that record it lowers the sound from the active deck. This is really bad for playing live. Is there a fix? I have looked through loads of other threads, from years ago, but never seen a solution - please help!

Can you tell us a bit more about your setup, how are you connecting your speakers to the iDJ Pro?

thanks for getting back to me!

I simply use the phono sockets at the back (red and white sockets), and link that to my amp phono sockets. When I play out I use phono to XLR and plug the XLR leads into the power amp of my 2K system.

This is the same set-up I have always used and has worked perfectly well in the past. The only difference now is iOS and the app have both been updated to the latest version.
