Improved Search Panel & Sorting on iPad

Question:

On the iPad, the search panel always opens in a small floating window, which ends up covering the library behind it. On macOS, the search is much more convenient because you can filter tracks from newest to oldest something that isn’t possible on the iPad version.

With the new iPad models and iPadOS 26 offering desktop-level performance, the iPad can easily replace a MacBook for many workflows. So it would be amazing to see the same advanced search and sorting features on iPad as well.

Is there any chance this could be improved or added in a future update?
