In 2 years, most dj's will create their own apps

What I am absolutely sure of: currently i’m not alone in creating my own software*, as a dj.
Yes i’m gathering all idea’s from Lexicon to Mixo to Dj.Studio, but most of all: i am creating what I need. So I suppose my question is, are we headed into an era where Algoriddim must open up to 3rd party software as well, just as they are doing for 3rd party hardware?

*library tools

Doubt it, all that says to me is inviting loads of vulnerability into their software.

If anything I can see software becoming more and more locked down, as more and more bad actors attempt to infiltrate peoples data/lives.

With open up i meant having access, just like a controller has. (Not to change anything in Djay Pro)

The ‘access’ is the problem though, that’s where the security is. I can’t imagine for a second any streaming service would allow their applications within 100 miles of an open platform, they won’t even allow their services onto InMusic gear that doesn’t have the DRM chip installed.

Hey mate, if i’m not keep hitting my max usage. i would have done something also.

Exactly like you said, library management. Are you sharing it on github or privatise?

my plan is to combining lexiconn, onetagger and mp3tagger

for now, everything private, not to be mysterious but actually for professional reasons. It takes great responsibility to put something out there. I just really enjoy using this stuff. And not hitting max usage: I combine them in this order of coding strength: Claude > Gemini > Perplexity / copilot > Local Qwen (via LM-Studio on a local server with Nvidia GTX 6GB GPU).

ps i don’t have any paid subscription, only spotify and algoriddim
