Since starting to use mp3 files somewhere in the early 2000s, Im also creating my own library tools. I don’t want to be dependant on a company or piece of software I don’t control. I have my own database, with all my tracks and playlists. I sync this with Discogs, Whosampled, Apple music and Spotify. So for example I could alter my playlist in Spotify and it is then synced back to my own database and to Apple music and my Dj collection.
It would be nice if Djay could have an Ppi, which you could enable during preparation time. With methods to read ‘My collection‘, like tracks and playlist. Then also that you could add new tracks, create a playlist and add tracks to it. Would also be nice to trigger analysing songs. Then during performance you could / should disable the Api
