I have a wierd issue on both the ipad version 5.2.6 and the mac version 5.2.6
On the song “In Da Club” by 50 cent i can’t adjust the downbeat to the start of the first beat.
Its only this song. I can change it on other songs no problem. I tried a couple of copies of the same song and also trued with the Apple Music version and I get the same result.
I tried edit grid > set downbeat but it wont reach the first beat
Any suggestions?
Hi @DJ_STUB, try switching to the Edit Grid menu then manually shifting the grid with the arrow buttons at the bottom.

Quick update!
Ok now I am super impressed with this software.
I was trying to set the beat grid to the first bass beat and the software wouldn’t let me until i got the hint from slakjaw.
I managed to set up the beat grids as I wanted but … the mixes sounded horrible.
After an hour of struggling i decided to mix it by ear and then I realised… this track needs to be beatmatched to the highhats rather than the bass (bass is off beat)
Then i realised something crushing … the software had the original downbeat set in exactly the right position in the first place.
I am equally impressed and embarrassed all at the same time.
