thanks for 5.3 updates!
for longer (or even standard) mixing/transitions (not to mention mashups), i really miss having one track slowly moving with fx like autofilter, phaser, flanger (and any other fx with movement really).
it helps create movement while working with other aspects of the mixing. all of the effects mentioned are to me totally useless with the 2 bars and up movements and at least 4 bars are crucial for any sophistication here.
another related option is to be able to have D/W and/or parameter also move over a 8 bar period for any fx. imagine any of the fx slowly rising and falling while playing with hotcues, loop bounce, slicer, sampler etc.
the slower movment of the mentioned fx would need to be adressed “under the hood” though, as the parameter changes the rate (down to 2 bars for now) and d/w would not help slowing down.

I couldn’t agree more. 2 measures is too short, especially for EDM.
Hi @Brynjulv, welcome to the Community! I’m not sure that I fully understand what you are asking for here, but it sounds maybe like you are using Crossfader FX and have the transition set to 2 bars instead of 8 bars.
If that is not the case, can you please try to capture a short video showing what you mean and upload it here? not crossfader related.
simply put - manual fx mode on decks: autofilter, phaser and flanger movement repeats after 2bars/8beats when parameter fader is to the left (as the longest/slowest movement) and it´s not cool - a crucial part of electronic dance music is slow builds/movements 
while first at it devs could create a function for all the other static fx: making the parameter fader and/or d/w knob also move in rates from 8bars to 16th notes (controlled by a fader/knob). this will not fix the autofilter, phaser and flanger since they already move, they just need slower movement at the slowest
for me this is actually something that makes the fx part the weakest part of djay pro.
d/w knob in pad fx (instant) (or % like in rekordbox), and d/w plus HOLD in x/y pads is also required to make the fx part more pro. x/y in ios is potentially awesome put useless now because the fx are not subtle to put it mildly.
triplets in delay would also be great but i guess that´s a longer shot.

Great! Also goes for deep phaser and sweep delay. I think autofilter is most important.
