Is it possible to have Instant doubles always “On” in 2 deck mode?.. ex.. when i press SHIFT and Left or right Arrow, it always plays the instant double of the selected track.. i know you can do it with the “option” and arrow keys, but i always forget, i think the option and arrow would work better for 4 decks. so basicaly replace the “option arrow” and make it so if you load the same song on the other deck it automatically plays as an instant double
Hi @djitchyfinga, perhaps I’m misunderstanding your suggestion here, but it sounds like you simply want to change the existing keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard shortcuts are customizable so you should be able to change Duplicate song from
to SHIFT + Left or Right Arrow. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a Mac at the moment to confirm this for myself, but this what the macOS user manual says on page 40.

Thanks for the quick reply…SHIFT + Left or Right Arrow does load the same track but not as a instant double where its playing at the exact same, its starts from the first cue point
If memory serves me correct, I believe that loading the same track used to always act as an Instant Double, but the functionality was changed based on multiple user feedback. Some users want the ability to play the same track in both decks, but not have them perfectly “doubled” and locked together. So, I think you will need to use the Double function instead to achieve the result you want.
Tell the devs to put it back.. or make a a " Shift key loads double" option.. or make a beta version for me..
