Hello slak_jaw, are you aware that after the 5.3 update, an echo at the instrument level has been appearing sporadically? After turning the crossfader FX on and off, the issue disappears.
This happend on my iphone 15 pro max

  1. What iOS are you using?
  2. Do you have any connected DJ hardware?

Only on my iPhone without HW.

It’s very difficult to capture this in a video, as it only occurs sporadically and you have to listen very carefully. I noticed it in a Persian song and even played the song outside of djay, and there was definitely no echo. Of course, this effect could also have been caused by the automix, because I listened to the songs one after the other in the automix. If I get my hands on it again, I’ll try to capture it. Perhaps someone else has already heard this effect, or hears it and can capture it?

Sounds like this might be in your Automix settings then. Can you please share screenshots of your Automix Transition Settings as well as your Crossfader FX Settings?

Perhaps you also have the new Neural Mix Mute FX enabled.

Thanks @DJKamyR, I recommend you change the CFX Transition type to Neural Mix (Fade) instead and let me know if the solves your Echo issue.

When I noticed the problem, the CFX was off. I turned it on and off again, and the echo went away. But when I’m in Automix mode, I have no influence on the CFX except with Neural Mix (Fade) as shown.

I think it’s stuck somewhere and it would be good if the developers took a look at it.

Okay, well please try to catch this with a video next time it happens. I will share what you’ve provided so far to the team to see if they can replicate what you’ve described.

Hi @Slak_Jaw today I got the same with another song. At the end of the video I have kill the vocal and you will here the echo and after tuen the cfx on and iff the echo is gone.

Yes and another strange effect heard right now. It is an Issue in combination automix and cfx. Pls check that with dev. Team. Many thanks

After the automix trans. there is a kill of a part from the Instrumental
see video. And after switch on and off the cfx the instrumental will come back.

The effect is also gone if I change the transition at the automix. as if something is stuck

@Slak_Jaw Automix has unfortunately become unusable, this effect comes again and again not after every song but definitely after every 3
