Internal error - Spotify

Device: Pixel 8 Pro

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • Whenever I try to load a song through Spotify I get and internal error and the song doesn’t load.

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Tap load a track

  2. Select Spotify

  3. Select song in spotify

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Song plays

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

Hi. Windows 10 and ios user here, latest djay pro on both. Running into the same issue since the latest update. Signs pointing towards a backend error. Have tried all resolutions without a fix.

  1. Can you please confirm which country you are in?
  2. Please confirm that your Spotify Premium subscription is up to date and valid.

USA and yes Spotify premium is current and working just fine

Thanks for the additional info @Krumagon. Are you experiencing any other network related issues? We reached out to Spotify and they are not seeing anything unusual on their end so they suspect it could be a broader network issue.

No other network issues on my end. I have AT&T and it has been fine. I have also tried the Djay app on WiFi with the same issue.

Okay thanks @Krumagon. I’ve been testing for several hours on my setup and the same with our engineering team. So far, everything is working as expected on our end.

How to share Spotify Profile Link:

  • Please open the Spotify App → Go to your profile → Tap “Share” → Select “Copy Link”

Hello again everyone. Can you all please double check your Spotify subscription tier? We have had some reports of users that were downgraded from the Premium Tier to the Basic Tier without realizing it. We are investigating this further and will let you know when we have any updates. Thanks!

Why this change all of a sudden? We have a basic family plan and have never had an issue using the app.
