Invalid certificate error on iPad

Good day

I am new to DJay and I became interested as I am responsible for the music at a huge family party for New Year.

I installed the app on my iPhone and it works great. I M in the trial for the pro version. I thought it would be great to use it in my large iPad Pro 2nd gen.

I installed version 5.2.6 and it ran great, until my iPad told me to load the latest iOS 17.7.3

After the install, DJay does not work. When staring, it says:

“ The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be api.revenuecat.com which could put your confidential information at risk.”

I have reset my iPad, deleted Djay and re-installed it. Still the same. If I click OK, it does not allow me to load Apple Music. It gives me a similar error message.

The software is unusable on my iPad for some reason.

Any suggestions? I would really appreciate the help.

Thank you

Hi @Rescue78, welcome to the community. Can you please verify that the date and time is set correctly on your iPad?

I did verify that and the date and time are correct.

Thanks. Could you please try going to https://www.revenuecat.com in Safari on your iPad and see if that works?

Also, if you’re using a VPN please try disabling it.

No VPN.

Interesting though. When I try to go to api.revenuecat.com on Safari, it gives me a “This connection is not private” error and has a similar message saying that this website may be impersonating revenuecat.com

Thanks for your help. I am all good now. There was an old app on my phone that prevented access to Revenuecat.

Thank you for your time and willingness to help.

Happy Holidays
