ION Discover DJ Pro not natively supported?

Hi,

I just got my ION Discover DJ Pro midi controller. Djay is recognising the device, but no ‘built-in’ mapping is showing in any menu… :frowning:

Is there a possibility to download the mapping file somewhere?

Hi Frank,

You can map it yourself by selecting “Configure…” from the “MIDI” menu.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this.

This controller is the same as the Numark iDJ3. Can I download the mapping file somewhere?
I have configured it already for quite a bit, but the right mapping of the cue an play/pause and sync buttons (with the blinking and so on) is something that’s not working.

Do I have to use different channels on the MIDI output?

Maybe you guys do have a mapping file for the Numark… I hope so.

Would you receommend getting this controller? I am looking at buying it if it can be configured to work with Djay (on Mac preferably).
