I used iPad Air M2 - iPadOS 26 with Reloop Flux audio interface, DDJ-XP1 and it work perfect without problem until i decide to turn on Battery Limit function in iPad to prevent overcharge and keep battery health good. iPad restart usb that i connect audio interface when charge reach at 80% (Reloop flux have USB-PD port).
I don’t know this can be or not but it’ll be good if djay Pro on iOS can temporary turn off iOS battery charge limit when open djay Pro app or just pop up windows to warn.
Hi @VJ_Xess, I experienced a similar issue with the Reloop Stand Hub Pro. Swapping out my USB cable for the original Apple cable that came with my iPad seemed to fix it.
@Slak_Jaw I founded out this problem is not Reloop Flux hardware problem.
I tested my iPad Air M2 connected with usb-c hub attach external HDD , HDMI Out to external monitor. run test battery run out below 80% after that plug PD charger back yo usb-c hub and wait iPad charge reach back at 80%. result is usb connection is interrupt when battery hit 80%, HDMI Monitor blinking , External HDD connection lost in loop. If re-plug usb charge cable it’ll back to normal.
I also test on my MBP , iPhone 16 Pro Max(Not Mine) and all not have any problem with Battery Limit 80% feature.
i’ll send this feedback to Apple , Hope it only OS bug not Hardware.
I founded iOS/iPadOS 26.4 already add battery charge limit parameter in shortcut app. Here is my Shortcut parameter to fix this problem.
Add Automation when djay is opened → Set Battery Charge Limit = 100% , Run Immediately.
Add Automation when djay is closed → Wait 60 Seconds repeat 10 times or more then add Set Battery Charge Limit = 80% , Run Immediately.
why add wait 600 seconds then Battery Charge Limit = 80% because when you switch app it’s match condition app closed, This is prevent accident automation trigger and make usb data connection lost when you switch app to other when use djay .
