Just revisiting an issue that was brought up a couple of years ago—hoping there’s now a solution. Is there currently a way to sync playlists and edits (like cues and loops) between iOS and macOS? I just spent a few hours creating cues and loops on my Mac, only to find that nothing synced to my iPad when I connected it to the Mixon. It looks like I’d have to recreate everything from scratch, which is really frustrating.

Hi @Fineboi, welcome to the Community! You can use iCloud Syncing to automatically sync cue points and loop regions between macOS and iOS devices. Please refer the the linked FAQ below for more details:https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014702832-How-do-I-enable-iCloud-syncing-on-iOS-and-macOS

If you would also like to sync your My Collection playlists between devices, you will need to do this manually by copying your Master ** djay Media Library** database file from one device to another.

Make sure you close djay on both devices first.

  1. I highly recommend that you make regular backups of your Master djay Media Library database to an external drive and to iCloud drive. This way if you make a mistake or something happens to your device, you can still recover your database.
  2. On iOS you can find the database using the Files app in On My iPhone/iPad>djay>User Data.
  3. On macOS it can be found in ~/Music>djay.
  4. Once you have determined which of these databases is the most up to date, i.e. the Master, then you simply copy it from one device to the other. During the copy process, make sure to replace/overwrite the database in the destination folder to ensure that it does not create a duplicate database with a different file name.

I hope that helps!
