There are issues with djay 2.6.1 and iOS with external USB sound cards, but otherwise I’ve had no issues.
These issues also seem to be affecting TRAKTOR DJ, so it’s likely an iOS issue, but Algoriddim has been helpful.
The Vestax Spin2 seems to be working just fine and has avoided the issues USB sound cards have.
I have this same issue and the controller isn’t listed in the Djay 2 app. I think it’s a firmware issue.
Thanks Fernando for your reply!!! This is helpful. I’ll also call Philips to report the problem. As a back up I’m having Amazon ship me another M1X-DJ unit just to make sure it’s not a faulty controller (which I don’t believe it is). Thx, Mike
Also, I’m not using OIS 8 but the 7 version on an iPhone 5 so it may not have to do with OIS 8
Thanks again for this info. If it may have worked before with an earlier version of an iPhone software update it maybe a Djay 2 software issue. Mine won’t work at all with the lighting cable. I have a gig on Friday so I really wanted to troubleshoot this as well. Keep me posted if you find out anything & I’ll do the same on my end. Thx, Mike
The new Philips sound system came today & iphone seems to be working fine with it so far. I believe it’s a Philips hardware issue. They must not be producing reliable units.
