iPad 10 - no headphone output - how to get split output

Hi,

I have just bought an iPad 10 , and there is no headphone jack / 3.5mm connector output on it.

Anyone has an idea how I can get a split output in djay, using just the iPad to dj ?

Best,
Joachim

Search for USB C to audio jack splitter on Amazon. I just found one for around ÂŁ9.

That should do the job for you.

Hi,

Thanks,
I bought one , but unfortunately it didn’t work.

But I think that was more the quality of the product itself, it was very cheap. The iPad didnt seem to notice it was plugged in at all,

But before I go on and by a another one, just need to make sure; you think that djay will recognise the audio jack and usb-c output on the splitter as to different outputs, so I can use the audio jack as “pre-queuing” and the usb-c as “main oputput” output ?

Best,
Joachim

A normal headphone dongle goes from USB-C to (mini) jack out. You then turn on split to get one channel for pre-cueing and the other for your main out.

If you have a different cable please link to it. I suspect that might indeed be the problem.
