Thanks! I’ll be trying this today or this weekend on my DDJ SX. Still wish there was a way to get the LED’s working on the unit.

Yep, it worked. Definitely needed the powered usb hub. Now it’s time to work out the kinks; it’s a little different moving around the IPAD with my controller.

Atm the XW-J1and the Spin 2 are the only Vestax/Casio iOS ready controllers.

What’s the best Vestax DJ controllers for iPad mini 4 for iPad DJay app? I have a iPad mini 4 and Vestax SPIN2 with a lightning to 30 pin adapter.

Are you sure? Because I plugged my Vestax SPIN2 to my iPad mini 4 with lightning to 30 pin adapter and did a rescan midi controller on DJay app and I got nothing. Let alone I just purchased the refurbished iPad mini 4 like last month.
