iPad Pro iOS with FLX10 and Djaypro

Hi folks,

I have bought the FLX10 assuming it would be ok with my iPad and Djay pro and all that happens is that I see the audio is playing through the Flx10 but nothing I press on the mixer works or talks with my iPad.i haven’t played since back in the day using technics 1210s and certainly not with an iPad. I need proper help to get this working please!

First check in the settings whether the controller is recognized at all. Then:

  • Try a different USB adapter
  • Try a different USB cable
  • Try it on another iPad or a computer
  • Try it with a different Flx10 - in other words: maybe the controller is defective.

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):

  1. Does your iPad have a USB-C socket or a Lightning socket?
  2. Either way, make sure you connect to the FLX10 using your original/genuine Apple cable.
  3. If your iPad has a Lightning socket, you may need to use a genuine Apple Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter: Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter - Apple
  4. If you are connected to the USB A socket on the back of the FLX10, make sure you set the switches on the top panel for all for channels to USB A as well.
  5. Have you installed the latest FLX10 firmware from Pioneer?
