Since updating my Mac and updating from iTunes to Apple Music, my Djay Pro does not sync with any new Apple Music playlists I made or new music I have recently added. I currently have to rely on my old playlist and music but need to get this issue sorted.
From the research, other DJ softwares such as Serato are having the same issues with the softwares struggling to auto sync with Apple Music XML file.
Do you know if this will get sorted soon?
Hi Anton,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Unfortunately, there is no way for 3rd-party DJ style apps such as djay to play songs from Apple Music, Apple’s music streaming service. This also applies when songs are downloaded onto your device from Apple Music, as the downloaded files will be DRM-protected.
That being said, djay provides a sophisticated integration for all tracks downloaded onto your device (via iTunes). You can browse your music library by Playlist, Artist, Album, Genre, Key, History, and more.
Furthermore, djay integrates with Spotify, giving you instant access to millions of tracks. Spotify integration in djay includes all of your existing playlists, starred and saved songs, powerful search capabilities, charts, browse, and Match for intelligent song recommendations.
I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have any other questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out again. Otherwise, have a great week ahead!
