Jump to next cue and pause

How cool would it be to have two buttons navigate through hot cues instead of the typical 8? I never really find myself using multiple hot cues when mixing, rather I use them as markers for where to mix in and out.

Imagine you have two buttons, button A and button B. Button A cycles through hot cues, while button B acts like a generic hot cue button but for that selected hot cue.

Emoji example:

  1. :white_large_square: :white_large_square: (left is button A, right is button B)
  2. :black_square_button: :white_large_square: (click button A)
  3. :white_large_square: :red_square: (button B is now hot cue 1)
  4. :black_square_button: :red_square: (click button A)
  5. :white_large_square: :orange_square: (button B is now hot cue 2)
  6. repeat ad nauseum

I belive all that would need to be implemented would be a shortcut for “Jump to next cue point and pause” and “Jump to previous cue point and pause”. Button B could then be assigned to the already existing shortcut “Jump to most recent cue point and play”.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll share this with the devs for consideration. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this feature. Thanks!
