jumping from 'External' to 'Internal' mode while music is playing-not good!

My setup is Macbook with Pioneer DJM-5000 mixer. A few times the software ‘jumps’ from ‘External’ mode to ‘Internal’ mode on me which cuts the music off completely until I manually switch it back to ‘External’

Is the switching done by the program? Can you remember what was the last thing you did before the switching happened?

Also which exact djay version are you using?

Hi Lukas, the version I have is 1.4.5 and my Mac software is El Capitan 10.11.6

Yes I believe the switching is done by the program. What happens is the music just stops instantly and then I have to go into preferences to switch it back to “External”

I can’t remember exactly what I did before it switched over but it did happen 2-3 times during the night.

This has happened in the past but it has not happened recently except for the other night
