It would be nice to have an option to keep th effect parameters so not to have to adjust it to the sweet spot every application restart. F.E. I like my echo to be at 1/4 and little and about 60% wet. Each time I restart application I have to set it back to 1/4 and 60% and then select reverb and adjust it to sweet spot as well. Only then I can collaps my FX tab for the gig. Should not be that hard to implement, I hope? Please
Hi Alex,
I think this would be more than nice to have. In fact it is a must imho.
Thanks for bring this up. It has a lot in common with the suggestion I brought up in July of this year..
Thanks for the suggestion! I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration.
Not saving the last state of the Neural Mix waveforms and Effect parameters is apparently (strangely enough) expected behavior. At least according to Algoriddim (according to their response in my Bug Report here) .
I am not happy about this, but since this is proably the case I would at least like to suggest adding the ability to save these states and manually recall them later.
As a user, it’s very frustrating and feels pointless to have to reconfigure settings like the Vinyl Brake effect to 4 beats or adjust the effect depth of Echo Out to the desired position every time I start Djay. This not only disrupts the workflow but also adds unnecessary steps for something that could be streamlined.
Hope Algoriddim would consider implementing a feature to save and recall these settings? It would make the software a bit more user-friendly and efficient.
Thanks for the additional feedback. I’ve shared this with the devs.
Hi @Akrilovy, hi all,
Now that djay automatically saves and restores effect parameter settings since version 5.3, wouldn’t it make sense to also restore the Neural Mix waveform setting in the same way?
The choice of waveform (e.g., traditional or separated Neural Tracks) is more of a permanent decision for most users—not something you’d typically change from session to session.
So IMO it makes much more sense to treat the choice of the waveform als as a persistent setting, just like effect settings are now being handled.
This would not only improve usability but also align better with how djay already preserves Zoom and Contrast levels on the same screen, which are also retained across sessions."
