Late response triggering loops with Neural Mix EQs

Hi, there’s about a 1 beat late response triggering loops when Neuromix is selected instead of EQ. (When EQ is selected, triggering loops responds perfectly)

When Neuromix is selected, after the first loop trigger it seems to respond as expected.

Triggering Cue point so far doesn’t have any issues.

Thanks!

Update: This seems to happen only when you first activate Neuromix by moving an eq knob before triggering a loop (for example mute the drums) but if you don’t move any of the eq knobs, triggering a loop responds instantly.

Thanks!

Hi @Donn, a work around is to enable the Neural Mix Tracks waveform view. This forces djay to calculate the STEMs separation when loading the song rather than in real-time.

Hi Slak_Jaw, Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve enabled the Neural Mix waveform view but still have the same problem.

Okay, thanks @Donn. Sorry that didn’t help. I’ve passed this onto engineering for further review.

It responds as expected from the second trigger onward, but only for that specific loop. If you trigger different loops at other parts of the track, there’s a delay the first time—after that, it triggers in time.

Also, whenever you click on different parts of the track in the waveform, there’s always a delay.

Thanks!

Thanks for the additional info @Donn
