Latency in mic with an external sound card

Every time I use mic conected to my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 it has latency. So if I want to record some voice over in DJAY Pro, or talk between mixes got the latency issue… Is there a way to setup the latency time for the mic input from the app?
With the music works fine, no latency, just with the input mic.
