Layout mode suitable for touch screen laptops

Integrating djay pro on a touch screen laptop is awesome - it feels like software and a hands on controller all in one except one BIG (or too small) thing - Everything is too small for a live environment. It’s ok if I’m sitting on the couch mixing at home but when live and moving around and having to make quick actions I’m constantly accidentally pushing wrong things, and that’s a shame because this really is the setup of the future,

Touchscreen laptops are about to completely dominate the market (with release of new MacBook Pro) so it would be great to see Djay pro the leader in utilizing this and continue its push into professional DJ setups and support this awesome combination of power computing and touch screens.

I know people will say why not use a tablet instead? Because tablets are annoyingly on rails with frustrating limited connections / limited audio interfaces compatible and generally not as powerful as full OS devices.

But that being said the tablet version of djay is awesome and designed for live use with everything easy to use. It’s just frustratingly only available to inferior tablet hardware!

Seeing as Algoriddim is marketing itself heavily towards new Microsoft Surface Pro touchscreen users (as neural stems runs 100% quality on these newer chipsets) WHY not please please give us a touchscreen suitable layout option!

It’s already designed! (The tablet version) Please reconfigure it to work with touchscreen laptops!

I’ve attached some photos to show how cool This setup is with club style hardware. But as you can see my sausage fingers need bigger options!

This is my 2nd post on this apologies, I feel I didn’t explain the usefulness and quick need of this feature thoroughly in the original post.

Suggestion to you:
Untag macOS from your topic.
Reason: There’s no touch screen mac.

Or am I wrong?

Thanks for the suggestion @AgentOllie. I’ll share this with our devs for consideration. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this feature. Thanks!

In the meantime, perhaps reducing your screen resolution will help by making everything larger onscreen.

From Google Search:

AI Overview

Apple is developing a redesigned MacBook Pro featuring a touchscreen, OLED display, and M6 chip,

anticipated for release in late 2026 or early 2027

. This marks a major shift, with the new, thinner laptops likely featuring a hole-punch camera, reinforced hinges, and higher prices, marking a 20th-anniversary milestone for the lineup.

tried this but the Djay pro app only allows certain sizes - 200% screen size is maximum. 300% and it would be quite good but you cannot fit the whole app on screen.

Coming! No doubt once released everyone will be crying for this. Trying to push algoriddim to front run trends here not play catch up.
