Whenever I re-record any piece a few times the playback / recording fluctuates in volume so significantly that it makes the piece un-useable. I have riding that is being put on stage in a week but it’s currently not in a state to use because I’ve been redecorating each time I add something on. When zoomed in on the waves you can even see it as attached on left side. HELP!

this can happen with digital recording, can you tell us what you are trying to do with the several re-recordings, maybe we can find a workaround.
