Library Limit + Lagging UI

I was finally able to import all my serato crates into DJAY. But I’m noticing alot of lag opening subcrates, scrolling through playlists…just the overall performance of the software is lagging. It is also constantly crashing when I try to expand/collapse playlist folders. I can recreate it constantly.

Albeit, I have not analyzed all the tracks yet, could that be the issue? Also what is the library size limit? I have over 140k tracks.

Hi @deejay_shy, thanks for the details about your setup and the issue.

  1. Are your files stored on your device internal drive or an external drive?
  2. What file format(s) are you using?
  3. I recommend that you analyze your library and report back if this doesn’t improve performance.
  4. Of the issue persists, ca you please try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here?

Thank you @Slak_Jaw for the follow up - I analyzed all the files and it does seem to improve the UI. I will continue to test while connected to the controller and will follow up if I experience any crashing or lag.
