Library Problem (macOS 15.7.7)

  1. Hi I’m having loads of problems with the library not linking to tracks, I’ve tried the scan to relink tracks and it keeps freezing

Hi my Device is Apple M1 Max 64 GB Mac OS sequoia 2021 the version of Dj pro is the newest my hardware controller is a pioneer rev 7. After updating Dj pro version before this new one i now find my tracks are not found anymore in Dj pro not all of them but seems like its most of them when I go to scan to reconnect the files it gets about 10 minutes in and never finishes

  2. This started after updating to djay 5.6.6 that was released about a week ago?
  3. Are you running the 2.01 REV7 firmware from AlphaTheta (DDJ-REV7 Firmware for Mac - AlphaTheta Help Center)?
  4. Did you do anything else on your Mac other than update from djay 5.6.5 to 5.6.6 (ex. macOS update, TimeMachine recovery, new software installation, etc.)?
  5. What source(s) are you using for your tracks (ex. Local Music, My Files, USB Library, External Apps)?
  6. Are you also using Apple Music Streaming?
  7. What is your exact workflow for adding tracks to djay?
  8. Are your songs stored on your Mac internal drive or on an external?
  9. Have you recently moved the files on your Mac or renamed anything?

  4. I clicked to preview a track inside DJ pro library thats the little play button beside the track name in the library when I noticed tracks missing from that time moving forward so might of had something to do with a bug from clicking on the track library preview button
  5. My library is on my 2tb MacBook Pro built in hard drive

  7. I put my tracks in one folder in my documents then drag them across to the Dj Pro crates

Which sequoia exactly? Those OS updates have numbers to their names. Specify

Either downgrade back to 15.7.1 (anything before 15.7.5 is fine), or upgrade all the way to Tahoe

@Turf_Daz, can you please try rolling back to macOS 15.7.1 or upgrading to Tahoe and retesting? Thanks!
