Hi, I’m planning a set using bass, guitar and sax loops. Have a few loopers, RC 500 my go to. Is there anyway to send tempo out of djay to the rc 500 so loops will sync to tracks?

Using IOS not mac

I don’t know if djay Pro can sync tempo directly via MIDI, but djay Pro can sync tempo via Ableton Link.

  • with Ableton Link, djay Pro can sync tempo to an iOS looper like Loopy, Remixlive or Launchpad.

  • For MIDI hardware like the RC500, you might be able to bridge the gap with an iOS mixer like AUM or Audiobus - both support Ableton Link and MIDI sync.
