Loading song with keyboard does not dismiss load track popup

  • Device model iPad mini 6

  • Version of operating system ios 18.7.8

  • Version of djay 5.6.8

  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): not relavant (disconnected)

  • Keyboard : Apple Magic Keyboard (bluetooth)

SUMMARY OF ISSUE

after tapping a track but using left or right arrow, does not dismiss the load popup. Maybe not so much a bug, but maybe expected behaviour. When you move to the next track, the popup dissapears.

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Have a bluetooth keyboard connected to the iPad

  2. Tap a track, load popup 1← → 2 appears.

  3. Hit left or right arrow on keyboard. (Track will load)

  4. Popup stays.

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Since I load a track, I expect the load popup to dismiss.

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • The popup stays, but only until you move to a next track.

Thanks for the detailed bug report @Ramon_Richie. I was able to reproduce this on my iPad and have passed this onto our engineering team for further review. I’ll report back when I have news. Thanks again!
