MacBook M1 : Pro or Air ?

Hello,

I will buy a new MacBook M1 in a near future.
The Air and the Pro have close specifications.

Does the Air will be enough for mixing ?
It has no fan but it seems the new M1 chipset is not heating a lot…

I will only mix MP3 stored on the internal hard drive. No video.

I played a 2.5 hour gig on it last weekend and did not notice any heat issues.

Several people have done stress testing and temperature testing on the M1 Air and Pro. I don’t recall what the numbers were, but shouldn’t be hard to find the tests online. As I recall, the temperature differences and throttling were pretty minimal between the Pro and Air.
